Rubik’s Cube: solved in 6.57 seconds
The world record in solving the Cube is 7.08 seconds by “speed-cubing” ace Erik Akkersdijk of the Netherlands. There are 43 quintillion ways of configuring the Cube (43,252,003,274,489,856,000 to be precise), but only one solution.
How to solve a Rubik’s Cube
Two years ago, during Reimage early days, the product team was stuck spending countless hours trying to find that perfect visualization that will best answer the common question of “What Reimage does, and how”.
We realized that coming up with a revolutionary technology is one big achievement but explaining it is another challenge we must meet.
So we presented a single question, asking: “what do you have in mind when you think of your Windows PC performance”. We asked this question to numerous people: PC technicians, home users (family members…), employees in other departments and the web itself (Google world of associations….). Well, one answer was so visual that we decided to instantly adopt it:
“Windows is like Rubik’s cube. When you first get it - it starts off all shiny and working. But soon enough things evidently change… and you can no longer bring it back to its original condition… “.
Well, most of us cannot bring it back to its original condition. And that’s when most people usually call a PC technician. Since then - the 3×3 cube became our brand identity.
Brand identity is how a Company wants the consumer to perceive the company’s brand. In our case it is simple - bring your PC back to its shiny, working, condition.
One goal in brand recognition is to align the brand image (the way consumer sees us) with the brand identity (the way we want consumer to see us). And this is one major task all of us here at Reimage are fully devoted to.
Happy New Year!

I bet there are more than 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 ways to mess up a Windows PC. Count all the viruses, spyware, user errors, incomplete program installs and uninstalls… Then make combinations of them all.
There are too many ways to mess up a PC and ReImage does a great job of taking them back to a clean and working order.
